383 stroker motor

Whats up family. My brother got his 383 motor at a local shop getting rebuilt. The guy told him that the alternator, power steering, ac compressor brackets etc off his 305 wont fit. i told him that doesnt sound right. So my question is will all the brackets from the 305 fit on the 383 or the guy trying to pull a fast one

Thats hard to answer. There are many variables believe it or not with a sbc. I've ran into problems with front timing covers not clearing water pumps, some heads don't have accessory holes (old school shit). If he's installing a billet front cover I can see issues with pump clearance. Spacers would be needed to push everything out. Hard to say without pics.
