3spd and 4spd steering columns the same? column shift car-

ive got a Q about our steering columns-

my car has the metric 200 with the 3 spd on the column lever, will it work properly when i bolt in the 4 spd 2004r?

i will be using the column shift still-

im just wondering if i have to swap some internal parts to make it work-

this is on a 87 N/A regal and its getting some beefed up turbo regal drivetrain

The column is the same, it's just the detent on the tranny that selects the gear. Is this for the Green Machine

OH YEAH!! OPERATION GREEN MACHINE IS IN FULL EFFECT... motor went to machine shop friday-

i wonder if the detent bracket for the 3spd is the same as the 4spd one-----

hmmm, just another reason why i should part out my silver 86 t-type. it has the column shift setup too-

The detent is in the tranny. Just hook the linkage to the side of the tranny (the gear selector) and it will work fine. I hope to meet up with you guys soon, been busy with the baby.
