After reading the 4.1 Recipe from GNTTYPE.COM (located here: http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/recipes/41recipe.html) I still have yet to find specified what blocks can be used for the 4.1 motor. I'm talking about a 4.1 production block, not a 4.1 "stage" block. Noted in the first paragraph of the Block Selection, "You've got 4 years to choose from, 80-84. 81 and 82 blocks have small oil pump feed gallies. The 83 and 84 blocks have the same size feed as the 86-87 Turbo 3.8s. " Surely he is talking about the 4.1L RWD 1980-1984, which cars can these blocks be found in?

I'm going to move this to general Tech as it's not Stage related.

You can find the 4.1s in full size Buicks, Olds, and Pontiacs, as well as some Cadillacs. The easy way to tell them in the junkyard is to look for the 4 bbl Quadrajet; all of the 3.8s had a 2 bbl from the factory.

They're still fairly possible to find, at least here in the South. I still have one more in my garage (visible in my web site holding up the stage parts in the "motor mockup" pictures). :)
