Its already aligned on a peel away backing. You peel away the adheasive backing, apply to car, and remove the cover film. It is three seperate pieces.
So in your picture you posted of the 4.1 that is how it looks by just peeling the backing off and sticking it on?

If so, The spacing between those sections just doesn't look right compared to the stock orriginals.

Sorry you feel that way. They just plain looked like sh!t. The numbers looked absolutely nothing like the original design. If that is something you could not recognize when you decided on a final mold then that is your problem not mine.

As you can see im not the only one who felt that way. Im not trying to bash you im just stating the facts. They didnt look like the original design. Period!

I would appreciate you keeping your opinion to yourself. The people that actually have them on their car like them.

The 4.1 pictured is a 4.5 badge that i had to modify. It was a quick proto.

4.1 SFI TURBO Emblem

Here is a photo rendering of our 4.1 SFI TURBO Emblem. THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE! Please keep in mind that the finished product will be more clear, more detailed, more shinny.

They are plastic just like the orriginals. (But Less brittle)
They are the same size as the orriginals.
They are one piece like the orriginals.
They are very close to the same font as the orriginals.

These were done in the brushed Stainless steel look for one reason. The mirrored plexi would have been more brittle and would break more quickly.

This brushed stainless look is still shinny and looks great!

(These will be sold in sets of two and will cost $75 shipped..)

PM me if your intrested..

I think the numbers could be tweaked just a little but they look pretty dam good as they are. The 3.8 has a unique character design and is apparently hard to duplicate with other numbers but your pretty dam close Scott. The numbers and letter seem just a little too fat as well. I say thin them out just a hair. When the "T" meets the letter "U" it is off just by a little. If you do a side by side comparioson you will see what I mean. I'm not trying to criticize im just trying to point out some small details if you dont mind.

I say tweak it a little more to get it perfect before you mass produce them but that is just my opinion. They do look better then any ones I have seen before tho. Good work.

Thank you Brett! Glad to hear i'm VERY close and your oppinion is welcome. So here is the situation with the numbers. We have worked out the font and had them side by side and what is looking unique with the 3.8 is simply "nothing" meaning that the numbers 4.1 are totally different than the 3.8 numbers giving you an image that something isn't right because we are so used to seeing the 3.8 that probably ANY other number would look weird to us. According to size, spacing and font they are correct.

The thickness you are seeing Brett is just a Photoshop rendering! The finished product WILL look ALOT better than the picture and WILL be to size so comparing this Photo with the other photo of the orriginals is like comparing apples to oranges because both pictures are not to scale nor are they the same size as one another.

Yea your probably right on that 3.8 comparison. The numbers are totally different in comparison and I guess it's kinda impossible to think one would look like the other. And being a Photoshop does distort things a bit.

Like I said I think it looks really good and when the final product is finished im sure they will look as good as you say they will. Nice work. Those should be a HOT seller. Nice to see vendors still getting creative on a car that's over 20 yrs. old.
