I have an 86 GN and I want to make it have 500 hp. It is stock right now with 168000 miles. But I want to get the block bored the engine studded. A new fule system with upgraed on turbo and intercooler. Get bigger gears in the back and beef my trans up. I want as a every day driver but a street killer. The thing is Im a new guy at buick racing and I want to know what is the best way about going about this. Thanks ghost

Welcome to the world of GN, TR, and GNX. The best way would be to to www.gnttype.org and check out their various recipies. I'm sure one will be in line with what you are looking to do. Looks like you have somewhat of the right idea though boring your block I would only do if you have to. Have fun and do your homework, its the best way to avoid puking expensive parts all over the place or building an ineffective combo.
