Picked me up a set of Diamond Audio Hex 6 1/2s. Took some work and a little creative finesse but, they are in (and sound GREAT)! Better yet, the are almost flush to the door panel. I had to use a 3/8ths spacer but you can hardly tell. Unfortunately, I won't be able to use the CSII grill, no biggie though, I think I can whip up something nifty for a grill. I'll post pics when it's all done.
Bottom line IT CAN BE DONE...thankfully. I had zero room for a kick panel install (waveguides). It's not a job for a timid installer...
