60-1 turbo

Just picked up a 60-1 from turbonetics. Anybody have luck running one? BTW I'm selling a delta gate if anyone is interested.

Jackson is correct, I am running that same turbo. I haven't tried out other turbo combinations so it would be hard to compare it to anything other than the stock one. And even then, the stock one falls far short. The exhaust housing A/R is .81 and im running it with hooker headers. It seems to pull pretty strong with little lag. I haven't gotten to really push the turbo yet because the headgaskets have been letting loose first. Im sure it has a lot of potential though.

Was it hard to install in with the down pipe. I also got a 96 a/r that came with it, do you think that it will work?

It wasnt very difficult to install in the car. Although my downpipe is just a 4' piece of flex 2.5" exhaust tubing clamped to the V-band flange. The other downpipe I got interfered badly with the A/C and heater box. Im gonna get one custom made later and it will be 3". As far as the .96 A/R housing goes, I dont know how it will perform on your car. Is it basically stock or do you have ported heads, intake, etc.? It may give you a bit of lag but, im not sure. Seems like every car reacts differently to the same mods.
