What do I need to do to get to get mine to hook?I have a set of ET Streets what else is needed. What do I need to do to the rear suspension?

Removing the front swaybar, larger rear swaybar, tubular or boxed rear control arms, poly bushings, air bag on the right side, and move battery to the trunk all help.

I have all stock suspension except some boxed lower control arms.
Et Street radials with a 1.59 sixty foot.

Summit and Jegs have them too.

It's always nice to support a board vendor though. I bought my boxing kit from them. Bushings are kinda a PITA to change. It may be cheaper or about the same price to buy tubulars (they come with poly bushings already installed) when you add up the price of a boxing kit, bushings and your time to weld and R&R bushings.

Where can I get Poly bushings?

Have you made any passes yet at the track? If so what were your sixty foots? I wouldnt spend any money unless you need it.

My first t-type had NO suspension mods at all and used to sixty foot in the low 1.60's all day long and went 12.1's back in 1993.

My ORIGINAL stock suspension car runs low to mid 1.6 60' with a best of 1.56.

so far my best is 2.09 but still do not have a lot of seat time at the track only been twice.......

Wait your best is 2.09 in Et streets? How old are they? Did you spin them?

Even with completely stock suspension and M&H DRs I ran a 1.80leaving at 10lbs.... this was with a basically stock car that was untuned and the MAF wound up crapping on me later that night...

Something aint right here.... Tell us about your launch procedurs

Well I can only get about 3 lbs of boost befor the tires start to spin witch is about 2300 rpms on the scanmaster.Bottom light comes on I stomp it to the floor. At the time I was barrowing the ET streets but ended up buying them off the guy so I did not do a BIG NASTY burn out on them.Hopeing to go to the track next friday night. How should I launch the car?

im in the same boat 2.30 60' time spinning 1 and 2nd i just put some mts on tonight
did you air them down?

You borowed them? I would have roasted them down and put up so much smoke they would have call the fire department. :D :D

Track only poly is OK. Any street use not so good. If you want the best of both worlds get some 1LE rubber bushings. Better and cheaper. The come up on ebay a lot.

this guy keeps everything secret because he thinks that you will beat him if he tells you his "secret". It's probably a lie anyway.

I can 1.59 off the footbrake on et street drag radials @ 5 psi of boost.

I have personally seen a friend of mine 1.48 on street drag radials about 8 years ago on the footbrake running 11.08.

My car is all over the map, 60' wise. Best before the boxed LCAs and ATR bar was a 1.585 on a PERFECTLY prepped track (Cecil) running 28x9.5 ET Drags. Switched to a used set of 275/50/15 MT DRs and my best on those was a 1.64x. My car runs good.

Now Ive got stock boxed LCAs and a ATR bar running bias-ply26x11.50x15 ET Streets and it wont 60' better than a 1.77. Granted Ive only raced on them once since changing from the DR, and I had the pressure around 18-20psi. And that was during a Friday night T&T. Ive heard I need to drop the pressure to 12-14 and really launch the car, but I dont have a trailer so Im not brave enough to do that just yet...

I'll go back on a Saturday soon and see what happens.
