I just bought a copy of MS office 2010. It says 32bit on the package. I asked the salesman if it will work on my computer. He said it would work. He said as long as it was Window 7 it will work. I bought the computer a few weeks ago....It has windows 7 but is a 64 bit machine. Will this copy of MS office 2010 work?

Yes it should work. The only thing you won't be able to use the full potential of any physical memory (RAM) greater than I believe 3GB? Its a whole lot of computer-techy nerd stuff that you don't need to hear ;). Most likely, you won't even realize if you are a person who uses mainly Word and PowerPoint from time to time. Now if you are say a business person, and create spreadsheets upwards of 2GB of space, that's when you will notice a slower running application. The other thing is that the 32 Bit system has a lot more "Add-Ins" available because 32 is more common-place. 64 Bit cannot read 32 Bit binaries. However IIRC, when you install your software there should be a selection whether you want to use 32 or 64.. Obviously select the 64 and all should be well.

Hope I helped
