in comparison to stock? There are guys running a stock t/b, as was mentioned earlier in this weeks forum some place. Just be mindful of the air distribution. The smaller cross-section increases the velocity of the air to maintain the required volume and pressure, which in turn can lean out some cylinders. Hence the need for the rjc plate. My 86 has the 62mm w/parted doghouse, spacer and rjc plate. The 87 has the 70mm w/champion d/h. Was told by the builder, the rjc was not needed. I'm still considering the spacer, if for nothing more than the extra volume and better, however small, distribution.
hope this helps.
