I'm kinda thinking about upgrading to a 70 series ( only because a few buddys have done so :p ). I really like my 45A as far as streetability and power. Just thinking about geting a little more without losing much streetability.
With my sig below which 70 mm turbo( 70 GTQ, 72BB, new X series?) would you guys recommend. Would I be happy with that kind of turbo for a 90% street car? I don't really want to change injectors (72's) or stall ( 3400-3600).

Thanks

I use a 70BB p-trim with an .82 housing and love it! It spools a bit slow with 3200 Art Carr, but it pulls really hard on the top end. With a small 35 shot to spool the turbo im getting closer to the 10.99's with stock heads/cam. I run consistant 11.20's @ 120-122 w/ low 1.6's. This is at 25-26 psi. A bunch of people have had good results with the GTQ 70. I think either would work awesome and pick you up some power over the 45A. My 70 is awesome on the street with my 55# injectors!

What kind of time have you already run with the TE-45? I've got an old TE-70 P trim I've had since 1997. Still using it and never had it to give problems or be rebuilt. I'd get the newest technology in a turbo if I were to buy another one.

Have you considered a GT70 P trim with .82 housing? Check with AZGN on this setup. You might be okay with current injectors and convertor. Sounds like a little tight on the convertor for the GTQ.
