Using a Sonnax 700 plunger spring in my KTF valve body with a 692 servo . Bigger boost valves in pump . 1st to 2nd shift is a little late . All other shifts OK . the 700 spring is longer than what came out of it . I know about the long spring/short spring thing . Wanted to make sure I had good line rise .

Should I grind some off the spring or leave it alone ?

Thanks

I didn't know it when I posted this question that someone else had earlier asked about the same thing and got no response . I assume it's a stupid question . Any way I can delete my post ? This is my first 200-4r . Just trying to learn .

After I posted I searched and found this had already been pretty much covered way back . Coming from the street rod side I didn't know or care about the 200-4r . Most everyone on the rod side use 700-4r's and heap scorn on the 200-4r's . I ran a th 350 in my 34 chev for years . Since I retired I got to thinking

overdrive .( CONTINUATION ) must have hit the wrong button . I didn't want to cut the drive shaft or modify the 34 frame to use a 700-4r so the 200-4r seemed like a good bet . Got more time than money since I retired so I rebuilt it myself . Lucky it does as good as it does .

I know this site is mostly for turbo buick folks and I respect that . A couple of my old club members wives drove GN's and loved 'em . I know about speed . Before I got old ( too old ) I had a rough and ready 427 Vette before I got the 34 .

My hats off to the many builders on the site . More than one way to skin a cat . If it was easy everybody and their sister would be doing it .

Happy Easter ! :)

If nobody gave you a big WELCOME!, here it is glad you stopped in.

How about some pix of your build? Anything you have is great and your experiences building yours. What you used and such. Looking forward to seeing.

Thanx , Rich . Don't know it this will work . 34 ready for the 200-4r transplant .

This is not the image I wanted to send . This is just a pic of the car .
