700r4 ??

Merry Christmas everyone. A little while ago I saw a post re trans parts and the reply suggested bulkparts.com. I am having a local guy redo my 700R4 to correct a slushy 1-2 shift under wot. I only want to build this once so what would you people recommend I order to build a bulletproof 700. It is in a 3900 lb car with a 500ft lb,380 hp small block w/ a 3:07 gear. I am also going to loosen up the converter to get this puppy moving. What would you suggest for a stall speed/ manufacturer? It is a street driven car but I want the same firm shift at wot as I get at normal conditions. Thanks in advance for your time.
