72bb S-trim?

The Turbonectis one? I run a Turbonectics one and it spools faster than my 70 q non bb. turbo. I have not put it above 20 psi so I can not tell you that is makes more power. At 18 psi I run the same mph as the old turbo.

What boost did you run with the old turbo? What mph?

Here are a few pics of my GTK-850 72mm, it has a .85 precision housing with a S-trim exhaust wheel. I'll let you know how it works in a couple weeks

ther reason i was asking is because the part number of the exhaust housing on the posted pic of the turbo is for a p-trim(76) wheel. the qtrim part number would be 80.

The exhaust wheel measures out to 2.694 on the inducer and 3.111 on the exducer or is it the other way around  I think the housing was cut to fit the bigger wheel, the new HPQ wheel is almost identical in size.

Doc, like ILUVBOOST said...... We use the P trim housing and machine it out to fit the new S-68 wheel.

Are all the 70 series exhaust housings the same dimensions in p trims and q trims? just the wheel different?

externally the same, the internal dimensions for the wheel must be machined to fit the different turbine wheels.
