For Sale is My Four year project, my 1976 Chevy Vega. It came from Ohio and has only 18,000 original miles on it. Included with the car is the original engine and air cooled automatic transmission. This car has NO RUST!! It has a 5 lug front wheels in a chevy pattern with disc brakes and a five lug ford pattrern in the rear with drums. The one thing I would possibly change is to install air bags instead of the air shock on it now. I built this car because Im an old fan of Grumpy Jenkins. The roll bar was installed as to make it simple to remove if wanted. Below is a list of most of what was done to the car. I did not want the typical tubbed Vega, I wanted to be able to take my kids for a ride in the back seat, therefore, no tubbing. Should be a 10 second car easily with exhaust on. Pistons are -26cc mahle with deep ring lands. compression ratio below 9:1. Some of the plastic interior parts are the were remade from aliminum or steel, such as the seat belt guides and the visor pivots. The supercharger was just replaced on the motor an Edlebrock Air Gap Intake manifold and a large breather piped to take in cold air from the front of the grill., new pistons and rings, . The 5 way Harness is out of date, but like new. It never fails, Ill work on something till its near perfect and sell it, this car is no exception.
