8.5" 3.73:1 rear axle

I need to replace the driver's side axle in the '87 442 rear I have in my '88 H/O. It has a slightly bent axle flange evident when the car is on a lift and the car is run in gear (flange has a wobble to it). I originally got the rear out of a roll over wrecked '87 442. We didn't know it at the time, but it was probably bent in the wreck. Now that I have the car finished and ready for the road, I noticed it when on the lift.

Anyone have just an axle for sale? I just want to take it to the track!

ad above has axels


on the chance your housing is bent they can be straightened at a chassis shop. i just had 1 they thought was unrepairable fixed and the bar that they use to jig it up and check straightness went right through no problem. cost me $150 to save the housing and a set of new axel bearings.
