This motor came out of a 1982 turbo regal hot air car. I dont know the story behind it but it has ARP rod bolts, turbo crank and turbo harmonic balancer, aftermarket Mallory HEI distibutor. Exhaust ports appear smooth, not sure if the heads are ported. Motor comes as in pictures minus the oil pan. Should make someone a good starting point for their build. Im asking $400 obo. PM me for any questions.

Please tell me whats wrong with this, is the price to high, is it not a desirable piece? please let me know.

how about $300? Please i need a set of new tires for my car and i need to sell something so i have the money to buy them.

If you can prove it's a Mallory distributor I'd be interested in the distributor but it's kinda high for a carb/turbo engine.

It's definitely worth the price if the bearings are good. If you were closer I'd buy it just for a spare. It would make a good motor even for someone with a blown 109. I'm running the same exact shortblock in my car. 82 n/a shortblock, built to 82 turbo specs with turbo crank, cam, 8445 heads. And it's running 22+psi:biggrin: It moves down the road just fine.

Just going off assumptions here...

crank-200 if nice shape
heads-50
rods-40
arp bolts for rods and heads-probably around 80-100

Then you got the extras... distributor, aluminum intake, front cover, etc

thanks for the prices, but if i break the engine down, whats the chance that the parts will sell????

Like I said I'd be interested in the distributor if it's an actual Mallory, but I don't think they ever mad a stock style for the CCC Buick distributor. The intake would be worth about 20 to 25 since it's a draw through design and is considered not desireable.

that intake is worth a bit beings it's aluminum.

The crank and timing cover should sell easily
