oh i'm not giving up on the car just yet but i will keep that in mind if having 4 cars gets to me haha. is the oil slinger a part i can order new from gpop if i can't get access to bead blasting?

Yes you should be able to get one. THey're cheap, I'd just replace it.

No. It's part of the turbine. You can't remove it.

I think it would be alot easier if you exchanged the cartridge.... this is not an area to make a mistake in. if the turbo shits the bed your liable to take the motor with it.
