84/85 hot air ecm

The ecm wire on my ecm connector a-6 has no power when the key is ? I checked the ecm fuses and they are good any suggestions where to look.I f i apply 12 volts directly to this wire will this be fine to power it up?

Looks like you can check the C16 pin to see if you have 12 volts. If you don't then check the fuse box and work your way back to the battery connector

Nevermind, I read the pinouts wrong, looks like it must be A6

Could i apply power to a6 pin to make it work.
