 Looking for some answers/opinions. I pulled my engine and found #1 piston with the ring land collapsed/burned and cylinder wall scored. #2 piston ring land was cracked in one place, no cylinder scoring. All other pistons show some wear on the thrust surface. Engine already has been bored .040. I have located some hypereutectic pistons in .020, .030, .040 and .060 oversize. Would boring the block .060 and using these hypereutectic pistons be a wise choice, or should I look for another block and start out standard or a small overbore? Do I need forged pistons? The car will not be raced, but may be driven enthusiastically. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Tim McCluskey
