I'm also interested in making more hp out of these things. I have all the basics done(listed on sig), just running out of ideas . Don't want to innercool it . . . . . Power logger, 2.2scanmaster, v5.7 chip for 86/87 ecm, Taurus Efan, 3.5 ls1 maf+translator, WB Inline controller, 3" cold air intake, ported heads to match speed daddy headers, SMC Alky, Casper knock gauge, adjustable FPR, Walbro 340 pump+Hotwire, XPW Garrett turbo blanket, poly urethane body mounts

What's done to the heads?
What about intake, cam / springs?
Injector size?
Planning to monitor FP?
What fuel?
Transmission work?
Converter?
Tires?
What numerical HP or ET goal?

Edit:
OP, Don't mean to hijack, but these are the questions that need to be answered, depending on the goal.

In addition: These cars are known to be quick, not necessarily fast.
Think about it. o_O

I'm thinking of a way since I already have the ic to run the piping so it's not all ugly and cluttered. How much performance will i get??? Is it really worth it?

300hp would be nice right now she's stock except for 50lb injectors tt chip to match

Fwiw . . . Shakedown . . . .
Ran 78 mph in the 1/8 on street tires at 14-15 psi with a rookie driver. WB showed 10.2, and had quite a few other issues that needed to be sorted out that caused kr. and spark issues. Timing was 16 deg., egt 1450.

Edit:
Not even close to earth shattering, but not interested in setting the world on fire.

I ran 90mph in the 1/8 last fall at 17psi with too tight of a converter, a terrible 2.1 60', spinning the dr through 1st.....motor is far from stock, but it's a true hot air...and it has a helluva lot more in it. All parts are able to be purchased...so your wallet is the only real limitation...lol

-Heads just port matched to speed daddy headers and nothin done to intake
-leaving in stock cam
-haven't done valve springs yet
-stock injectors , I'm thinking of installing as high as #50's injectors
-I plan on leaving the fuel pressure at one setting but I do have a adjustable fpr and fuel gauge installed
-91 octane fuel( pump) with alky
-stock transmission until it goes
-stock converter
-not sure which size tires
-goal is for 12 sec on the quarter mile

I have everything to monitor engine (scan master and powerlogger, upgraded to 86/87ecm)

PORTED HEADS... The BIGGEST thing you can do is get your heads ported. Ported heads requires less boost to make HP. Headers/Downpipe and a Turbo Tweak Chip calibrated for your injectors should get you close to 300HP. But you will have to TUNE! PORTED HEADS are a No BRAINER. If you are planning to go FAST, this will help now and even further down the road. NOTE: all the above means NOTHING if you cannot TUNE. Get a binder and search forum and print. Your car is going to run its best on the EDGE. All Hot Air Buicks are NOT alike. You are going to have learn your car. If you can TUNE a Hot Air, you can tune any care. Hot Airs require ATTENTION to Detail... HOT AIR CARS ARE PICKY HEIFERS....Get it running right (no codes, sensor set; TPS/CAM and fuel pressure set). Invest in some tuning software: POWERLOGGER... Take you time, but learn your car..

Anyone can tune Intercooled (35000 made), but how many can tune a HOT AIR (less than 4100):)
