I have the opportunity to get a remanufactured 86/7 rad for very cheap. What I want to know is how difficult would it be to get the oil cooler working from the 86/7 setup on my car. Anyone know what parts are neexed exactely to accomplish this? as well, would I have to disconnect or modity the A/C lines on the passanger side to get the rad in properly? Any insight would be much appreiated.

hey

as far as the oil cooler all you have to do is get the plate and lines that go between the oil pump and oil filer and then run the lines up and for the ac line you wont need to move them it will go right in. only probelm i ran into was the tranny fluid lines because the hot air radiator has the lines in the back of the radiator and thats where the oil lines are on the 87 car. and the tranny lines on the 87 radiator are in the front. its a easy fix if u have a tranny cooler. its not that hard to do i would get the 87 radiator as it is much larger then the crapppy 84 radiator
