Its actually a great deal when comparing it to what it woudl take to duplicate it. It would take most at least another $7k to get similar performance. Seen several cars come through here in the last few months with $15-20k invested and still have stock trans internals, stock ecu, zero suspension work, barely making 500hp and running 11's
. I love it when i see a low 11 sec car that has heads, cam, "built" short block, a turbo capable of supporting 850hp and it makes a whopping 500hp. Its funny to see peoples reactions when they see how poor their actual hp really is. Im often asked what i think it will do and am usually within 5%. So i write that number down and show them after the dyno pulls. Typically the owner thinks they have about 75 more hp than they really do. The truth is most should have about 125hp more than they do for the parts they have on them. I could do a stock long block installed for $3200 not including AC lines/compressor.
