86-87 LeSabre T-Type WE4?

I'm not sure of the year, but I was driving home from the beach today and came up beside an 86-87 Black Buick LeSabre T-Type that had the black out package as well. It basically looked like one of the super-rare '86 LeSabre GN's minus the badging. It was sort of like the WE4 version LeSabre style if you know what I mean. This thing was in really good shape but I can't say the same for the obese woman driving it. How many of these did they make? Did it have the n/a 3.8L like the LeSabre GN or a 4-banger? I think that would make a cool daily driver and companion car for my GN.

They are about as rare as the TR's. I think I see more of them in the boneyards than out on the roads. I dont have the exact figures but IIRC it was something like 9000 in 87,7000 in 88 and 4000 in 89. Not worth much today, even in mint condition. Even rarer are the Electra T-Types from of the same years. The neat thing about the LeSabre T was that is was a coupe. Olds and Pontiac had sport versions of the C/H-body but they were sedans.
