Hi everyone,

I have an 86 T-Type for sale with about 138k on it. I bought the car about 5 or 6 months ago, it was complete stock. I have since installed a scanmaster, walbro pump & hotwire, turbotweak 5.7 chip, RJC power plate and boost controller, set at 15 psi. I also installed a bunch of little stuff, like a autometer boost gauge, summit gauge set, new intake hose, silicone couplers, radio etc. The car has a set of new Michelin tires. Window tint is only 2 months old. It has two-tone grey and silver paint that appears to be less than 10 years old. Vehicle just past smog when I bought it, runs and drives great. Cold air, still running r12. I love the car, but I have too many projects and not enough time and money for both, so this one will have to go. I have a box full of wiring diagrams and repair manuals, as well as the original window sticker that will go with the car. Vehicle is located in Corona, CA. Asking 10,500 obo. I don't visit the forum very often, so please email me at cotterb77 @ gmail dot com. Thanks!

That's not a limited ! There wasn't any turbo limiteds made in 1986. It appears you have a leather interior t type which from what heard according to Kirbans book they made about 150 of in the grey. I have 1 also. Post a pic of your trunk sticker and it can be confirmed

What James said i also had an 86 with leather Tan interior and the console they are cool as hell. Your paint looks cool! Sorta like a WH1 but different color combo.. I also have a WH1 :D

Thanks for the info. I guess I have been misinformed about the car. So, what is the difference between a limited and a regular t-type?

Nothing that would affect the value of your car. Leather interior with electronic AC is a pretty well optioned car.

I can understand wanting to get it right for the sake of accuracy but the car looks good.

There was not a turbo limited offered in 86 for starters. I can tell a 86 from a 87 by the grille, horn button t compared to t type, dash plaques are diffrent. The c68 digital climate control wasn't available in 1987.

Limiteds have a diffrent type of carpet which means the lower door panels also have this unique carpet. The dash plaque would say limited. You would also have the unique limited style upper door panels with the coffin style door pulls. You would also have limited emblems on the quarter panels.

Your car looks like a d84 designer series aka two tone paint. Another reason to post a pic of your trunk sticker since I didn't think they were available in 86 on turbo cars I find it weird but perhaps I'm wrong . Maybe someone just repainted it that way? Looks like a nice car !!!!

Thanks for the info, it looks like it was repainted at one time. I took a picture of the trunk sticker.
