What's the proper way to remove the front fascia on an 87 buick regal? Not sure if that's exactly what it's called or maybe the header panel? It's the piece that holds the grill and the headlights that bolts to the front fenders and radiator support. Do you have to remove the fillers and bumper to remove it? From the looks of it, I'm thinking I may not have to, but just want to confirm. Thanks

You need to at least take the fillers and grill out. It will be much easier if you remove the bumper as well but you don't have to. It's called the header panel.

X2.
Removing the bumper (8 bolts) will make it a helluva lot easier. The fillers are attached to the header panel and to the front of the fenders. Removing the bumper will allow easy access to the bolts and such. You will have to remove the headlight bezels to get to the bolts that are behind them. Use a pair of vise grips to hold the long studs when removing the nuts...or they will unscrew from the header panel and there is a chance of cracking the mounting holes. Good luck. HTH ---Keith

^^^ Keith knows what he's talking about. Look up how much he's done to his car so far and he can give you a better idea of what you need to do.
