This build started as a mini tub, cage, frame notch, and chute installation. The car was an original 30,000 mile car and was in great conditon so we tried not to cut into it too much. The frame has been re-enforced with 1/4'' plate and was also re-enforced with moly tubing. There are pictures of it after we cut it out so you can see it a little better.

The customer then decided that he wanted to put a twin turbo BB in the car and wanted to race it. So we decided to back half the car and re-do some of the cage work inside. The car will have a moly fabricated rear, four link, moly cage, moly wheelie bars, moly anti-roll, double adjustable strange coil-overs, bead-lock wheels, 16.5 x 33.5 tires.

Here are some pics from the first time around:

Looks good. Since you're a new member here welcome aboard. Hate to say it but please remember this section doesn't allow for solicitation. Sorry, it's the moderator thing.

Man, That is one great looking transformation GN
Please post when completed and also post the You Tube track run

Nice rearend, those rear wheels and tires are huge...

Keep us posted with the progress...

The aluminum is going in. Along with some other small stuff. The aluminum will be painted and so will the roll cage and chassis. The interior will be redone as well using the stock interiror as the inspiration. We also got news today the motor will be a twin turbo (90mm) big block. We may be doing the installation of the motor and plumbing it as well. Hopefully I will get to post those pictures up here as well.

too bad the owner didn't pick up a basic regal for build up. that's gonna be a killer race car.

I dont know what is going on with the pictures in this thread. They seem to not be working. Atleast for me. I will post some more pictures of the the car as we are finishing up the tin work.

If you would like to see the full build, without the corrupt image files. Check out the gallery that I have been linking from.

It warms my hart to see a clean GN tubbed out! I love it! It looks well done compared to some of the junk that out there.

Just got some of the tin back from the painter. Also got the roll cage painted. Its starting to all come together now. The car will be going to get the interior done shortly.
