comme on.. driving to a show is no fun. misery loves company so keep dumping $ into ya T like the rest of us. :D

seriously i think no matter what you will have to pump $ into a car this old or older. name of the game. chances are youd get a ttchip and injectors to be safe ohh maf craps out time for lt1 and trans so thats 300-600 there a bouts. ohh wait maybe scan master gotta see hows shes running..... if your t needs body work or you really want gn then go for it but no matter what you will be dumping $ into to just get it right..

also not saying anything about owner but a car that has driven only 8000 miles still may have issues or maybe its so nice you will be afraid to drive it... i was faced w same decision sold my gn and purchased a cleaner one.. good luck with whatever you do...

Just remember - hurricane Sandy went through there last year...

Good Catch Russ, Health problems are forcing my folks to sell their place in Estes. If you know anyone please let me know. Nice place, I think they have it at about $385k

Yeah the first thingI saw was the van. Lol. I hear ya guys. No matter what you buy it's going to suck money.

Yea kinda odd that it looks all stock, even the side profile shows stock tires, but the last shot has MT DR's in it. Beautiful car though.

I always question those so called "low mileage" units.
Sometimes I actually call BS.
I've seen more than few ads on CrazyList that say something like "well the odometer shows 24,000 miles so I assume it means 24,000"
Riiiight. Nevermind it probably means 124,00, or 224,000 - that couldn't happen in 25 years.

Everyone knows how easy and common it is to change out a cluster.

Whatever the case - when someone advertises such a low mileage unit - they better be able to put up - and prove it with chronicled documentation, month by month, or at the last year by year.
Because that's where the price premium kicks in.
And I'm not talking CarFax.
That just reports the BS some other BS-er reports.
Service records, solid documentation, etc.

As a final punctuation point - when I "lost" my 1987 GN to the Wicked Witch of the West, I found it ten years later advertised on FleaBay, and ...ahem..."certified" by CarMax....advertised as having less miles then when I had it.
So - yeah.
Right. Tell me another bedtime story.
