Hey grumpy, did yours have and weights on the side of your converter the ones I've seen have NONE. I wonder how they balance them (I would hope they do).Anyway thanks for the info.:D l

I was looking to get one and notice no weights on them just wondering how they balance them then( I would hate to have it bolted to the crank and un balanced). Did yours have the stall speed # stamped on the front my friend also just got one and his didn't. He didn't install it yet to check the stall speed he ordered but was wondering why some we have seen stamped other have nothing. How is your stall is it on the money to what you ordered?

He got his directly from TCS and spoke to Rusty there.

I sent you an email regarding this.
Now I KNOW who you are.
they balance by removing weight where needed. This way you never stand a chance of a weight coming off or loosing and flying off.
The reason some are stamped with a stall is usually one bought from Chris at CK or from TCS direct. We custom build EVERY converter and if it was from us it would have the serial number stamped in it, your name, the date, and our name all stamped into the converter. I can track EVERY converter we have sold with specs since 1999. I do not experiance the problems that are brought up here. Why, I do not know. Maybe I take more time and care in what I do. Just look at the thread. Everybody who buys from us are happy. Ask Russ Merritt about his experiance considering he buys so many. Thanks for the kudos Grumpy and I still have yet to converse with you on the phone. Maybe someday....

Hope this explains some things.
