Another day another problem. Here in Fl its already up to about 85 degrees in the afternoon, so of coure i have the a/c cranking, but here the problem.... Usually when you turn on the a/c the cars idle speed goes up so the compressor doesnt kill the engine, but lately when i turn it on the engine just bogs down and when im driving it likes to stall sometimes when i let off the gas pedal. If anyone knows how to fix this it sure would be nice!!! thanks again everyone!!

It's possible that the compressor is dying. Is it original? What type Freon are you using?

Its the stock compressor, and it blows pretty cold.....it was converted to 134-a...maybe the high idle compensator???

Perhaps your IAC is no longer operating. It provides varying airflow to change idle speeds which is dictated by the computer.
