I recently bought a low mile '86 T type, that has a TE 52 turbo with 009 injectors and ATR dual fuel pumps. I am not familiar with deciphering the flow graphs. Could you tell me at what point of boost this turbo starts to fall off on air flow. I have boost set at 18# for street. I want to think this turbo might handle up to 23# boost with racing gas if I were to take it to the strip.
In the parts box that came with this car was a spare yurbo with stock sized impellers. The inlet is a TE style and that impeller is more cylindrical compared to the stock impellor looking like a truncated cone in side view. Is this turbo any appreciable gain over the stock turbo ? Is this what Eastern Performance used to call a " CHEETAH" turbo ?
Thank you very much for your time !!
