Absinthe

Recently they legalized absinthe in the US.

It's not the same as the old absinthe, uses a different type of wormwood. I picked up a bottle in NH at the NH State Liqour Outlet on the way to get my new GN, and I fell in LOVE.

My friend and I downed it pretty quick, and wound up getting two more bottles to bring to CT.

I wound up buying some from England, the real stuff with wormwood. You guys have to try this stuff.

I had some absinthe several years ago when I was in Japan, before I even knew what it was. I didn't have any hallucinations, so I guess I did not drink enough. It's good to know that it's legal now. I'll have to pick some up the next time I'm at the liquor store.

The loacl stuff is good, bt not great. The England stuff is off the hokk man.

Whoa, they legalized it?! Where can I read about this? I've always wanted to try it but it's so high $$ to import it..is it supposed to generate the same effects as the imported stuff or does it just get you really drunk?

Anyways, yes it's legalized. The stuff you can buy in the states is not full strength. It's made from a different type of wormwood, so it doesn't give you the full effect. That being said, it's still quality stuff. From the legal stuff, my friend and I polished off the first bottle in one night.

I didn't get any colour trails until I had drinken a lot. I did notice that it gives you all the REALLY drunk stuff rather quickly. You know how when you have drank a whole hell of a lot, and your vision kind of turns into a flip book? Like still picture after still picture? Well, I got that from about 2.5 drinks of the legal stuff.

The imported stuff is just insane. That awesome drunk post of mine came from ONE drink. I drank two of the imported and one of the local stuff last night, and the colour trails were awesome.

I think I have discovered my new drink of choice.

Oh, and the imported stuff is expensive. Cost me ₤98. Which is like $170 shipped for two bottles. Hell, I just got a raise, and it was worth it. I will order some more one day.
