Just purchased this filter from Walmart online and wondering if anyone is using them? Just under $5. Seems like most have steered toward the Wix.

Seems like Wix was absorbed by Mann + Hummel a while back. Not sure when they started making some in China?

Strange thing happen to me yesterday as I changed the oil (Valvoline VR1 10w-30) and new ACDelco oil filter PF52 old style, (left side photo) the oil pressure gauge was reading over 38psi at warm idle, and at high stationery idle it was reading 67psi. Normally the oil pressure reads around 28-30psi
This didn't seat right with me so I drain the oil, remove the oil filter and replace it with another ACDelco PF52 new style (right side photo), and replace with same oil. Started GN and oil psi was back to normal reading at warm stationery idle 30psi. It's a good thing to have gauges to see what is going on.
Right now I'm in the process of repainting my 87 GN in my home garage. These cars can guarantee of keeping you busy, even when you are over 70's.

Guess which one is made in the US? I heard both are good, the China ones are no bueno.

To the OP where is the AC Delco made? I asked and didn't get an answer.

Really don't know since I removed from the box and them into a group of other filters.
I not sure but I think the one from Walmart ACDelco PF-52E are from China
It's been a long time since I purchase the GN oil filter, as I mention before I had many store inside a box and I had two left over.
I used the last one to replaced the faulty one.
