I'm trying to help out a guy at work with the A/C on his Benz. He's going thru a divorce and doesn't have a lot of $ to spend on it. It worked last year, so I figured I could top it off for him. I have the manifold gauges and other tools so why not?
Well, first of all I can't find the high pressure service port. The low pressure port is right by the compressor, but I can't find the high pressure anywhere. Anyone have a diagram or description they can point me to?
Second, I can't get the compressor to run. I'm sure it's because there's not enough refrigerant in it but it looks like the pressure switch has 3 wires. Which, if any, do I connect to get the compressor to run? There's another plug on the drier, but it looks to be just a high-pressure cut-out.
TIA,
Jim
