Ac issue

My compressor has been randomly going on and off, it seems as if it only happens when the car is being drivin not in park or at a stand still.
Any help would be very apprecated!!

Your charge is most likely low.

As mentioned your charge might be low. Also if you are using an alternative refrigerant to r12, the pressure switch may need to be adjusted to the proper pressure. The switch is located on the receiver/dryer in front of the AC/heater box. Check for proper pressure for the refrigerant you are running, if correct adjust the switch to kick on correctly (small screw under the connection).
