False. You charge it to the recommend PT values for R-134a with a gauge.

That's good to know. In your other thread you said you went to %80 not %90 though. Maybe that's part of the reason you didn't have much luck with that. Obviously you should use a gauge when charging A/C but if you don't have one I don't see the problem with going with an educated guess. Would you mind explaining how to read/use those p-t tables? This is the first I've heard of them and I am NOT to proud to say I don't know how to read/use them and I'm sure I'm not the only one. TIA. james
