ac relay

on 84/85 gns-is there suppose to be a ac relay in the engine compartment on the evaporator housing for cars with the touch heater control face in the interior?thanks matt

Yup.

Mine went and was just replaced. Careful...its not a cheap part.

Guy at GM told me he replaced like 5 of them on a car he owned once....

It goes into the top of the evaporator and a wiring harness with 3 or 4 prongs plugs into it.

If you need the GM part # let me know.

i take its different than the 86/87 relay-thanks,i did a 87 conversion and i noticed the relay was not in the same location as the 87 and im not sure but that part of the wiring harness may still be the same as it was -thanks
