Accel Gen 6 EFI, any good?

I was checking out stuff on CL and I found a complete system without software for sale for $250. Is this a good deal? Would this work with my 600crank hp goal? I'm trying to keep it sleeper and not hack stuff up and this looks like it's designed to plug in.

If its tuned properly it will work fine for the race track/dyno. We just made 1017 RWHP on a big cube LS1 motor with one of those old school batch fire boxes.

For the street it will use a lot a fuel since they always run rich at lower speeds and are sensitive to voltage fluctuations. Race use, the timing retard is slower than a stock ecu, but you can tune them in with a wb in the car.
