Hi I hope u can help I have old 96 gen 4 d.f.i. installed on 87 buick and
have no cable to go from control box to labtop it was put in by Hann
Race Craft he cant find cable its been so many years does any one know
what to do about this problem looked on e-bay already is this somthing
I have to make kind of dead in the water .

have you tried calling accel?

Not only do you need tjat cable, you have to have a laptop to run the program on. It has to be a dos based program meaning windows 2000 or earlier to run it.

You could probably go back to the original ecm with a tt chip and run better.

I Yes thanks on the info yes I forgot about labtop and dos sytem
a member is selling a gen 6 dont know if sold yet but do I need a new wiring harness I think I should be able to pull old system out .
running #42 injetors stock throttle fuel regulator 3 inch dp and exhaust
with wastgate dut neck on intercooler heads port polish where done thru ans
many years ago so was transmission 9 inch art car stock headers motor
has not been touch if this helps i just like to get car tune so I can sell

yes your right forgot about dos

Install Linux Ubuntu OS on laptop, you can then install/run programs "wine" and Dosemu which will allow you to run Dos/windows programs.
