I have an adjustable wastegate on my buick and I want to turn down the boost, its at 19psi, im going for about 15-16psi. Now when i turned the wastegate nut and loop (the part that connects to the flapper, i dont know what you call it) the whole rod seemed to move, its not supposed to do that is it? do i need to clamp down on the rod before turning it? also, is that little clip supposed to come off so easy? lol it doesnt seem like it would help too much. any info you can give me on doing this would be greatly apreciated. this is my first time controlling boost by this method.
