Hi, I'm trying to set the RJC BC on a compressor in the shop. I set it by blowing air through the straight fitting attached with hose and I hooked up where it would go wastegate aculator(I attached smaller hose to L and a 30psi boost gauge at the end. It's a pain to set up, I want to set controler to 17psi....The controler's all out pretty much accept for 3 to 4 turns in...I havent tryed it on the car yet. My wastegate is adjustable(standard)it's set right now at 12psi, because I had a trans issue last year so I had to turn it down bacause of WOT issues because of the trans.. Anyways the transmission and torque convertor was rebuild just before storage last year, like october..trans is running perfect at WOT, U can step on it now. I'm trying to reset boost back up to 17psi..I hear different storys, first set aculator 1/8th of a inch to slide to arm and adjust boost with controller. The other is set aculator to 15psi and up boost with Controler. I also heard that wastgate begin's to open at a certain psi, so it would be best to set aculator at a lower boost before puck starts to open so it opens fully in one shot with controler. Any help would be appreicated. On the compressor I try to set regulator at about 25psi(That 's pretty much max out for a stock turbo)no luck. I had alittle better luck uppering the air on compressor to 40psi but it seems when I screw in rjc bc for more boost, the boost gets lower. It's wierd. It's suppose to be screw in for more, screw out for less. It also just be because I'm not using the aculator, they most likely are suppose to work together while setting?I also replaced the spring on BC, the ball still looks good. I know it's a long one guys
