Advice on these coils.

Are these an upgrade over the stock coil? Do they bolt right in place? Do I need anything else to use these if so? Thank you.

I wouldn't really call it an upgrade. I ran a Type II on my 86' GN and didn't really notice any difference over the Type I system. The nice thing is if a coil goes bad you can replace them individually rather than replace the entire coil pack. The Type II does require an adapter plate which looks like it is included.
