Thinking I may consider getting one of these and searched here for info. Most of the threads are dated and most posts were people that didn't actually have one of these in their TB.

Who has one? I am mainly interested in single pump installations only..... not double-pumper setups.

How do you like it?

Are you running stock fuel lines and return lines?

What FP do you run?

What electrical mods did you do to make sure it was getting enough voltage? - i.e. bigger wire/relays etc.

I don't know if I can be of much help but here it goes. I was thinking of purchasing one a little while ago but like you I had no info to go on. I called Aeromotive and they made me feel pretty comfortable that it will work just fine. I bought the pump through Summit (the center outlet version) for $150. I didn't see it go in but my brother installed it and said it was a breeze to install. No snags at all. He was pretty impressed with it and has tons of experience with aftermarket fuel systems.

I'm running all stock fuel lines up to the front. At the front I have a #8 line going up to the rail. I will also be using a hotwire kit from Caspers.

I havn't started or ran the car yet but i'm about 2 weeks away. I'll update when it's running.

Brian, I run one in my normally aspriated LS powered T on E85....Car runs high 6's in the 1/8. -8 lines to the rail -6 return. Plan to bump the power up a little next year, so I will be watching it. However, I doubt I'll have an issue in say the 6.50 range being that I only run 1/8 mile here. Have about 40 passes this year on the pump with no issues.

Also, installed one earlier this year in a GN I built for a guy with a little stroker setup. Full weight car with XFI that runs 6.70's in the 1/8th..He uses the car as his daily driver and we haven't had any issues to date.

Did you get my email??

Yes I did. Good to hear from you.

Glad to know somebody is running one and like it.

Anybody got any dyno numbers running one of these pumps yet?

I see Otto had put down a little over 600 RWHP in another thread with one of these pumps.......

Surely there is more than one or two of these things getting beat on in our cars..... by now......

How ironic that this thread got bumped today. Here is a copy of the Email I sent to Aeromotive just this morning.

***Hello. Here is the dreaded Monday morining Email:

I recently purchased one of your new Stealth 340 intank pumps from A-tech (Summit). When I recieved it the box was covered in black fingerprints and the contents were clearly used. I returned the pump back to A-tech and got another. This one appeared to be new so I installed it into my car.
Car: 87 Buick T-type. Stock long block. Bigger turbo, 60lbs injectors, bigger intercooler etc... 450hp?
After breaking in the car we put a total of 170 miles on it trying to put a base tune into it. The entire time the car was driven it had a major pinging problem. We started with a conservitive tune of 20psi and low timing. We ended up with 17psi and barely any timing at all. The car felt like a slug (375hp now) but still had slight pinging.
I decided to just drive the car easily around to log some miles and enjoy it before we went back to tuning it.
On Saturday morning I started the car, drove it around the block and the Pump failed. No start. I pulled it all out and it is shorted out comming from the pump. It also blew the fuse. All the wiring and sending unit is fine.
I want to return this pump to A-tech but I'm scared to put another one back in as I don't have the time, money or space to deal with this problem again. I really don't want my motor to fail as a result of a bad pump. I am also reluctant to put in a Walbro but I'm not sure what to do? Are you aware of any problems with these? Are there better ones being made now?

Please help.
Thanks *****

ive used three to date.

1. stroker 109 with stock fuel lines 83 lb injectors and ta66....no problem feeding fuel up to 30psi of boost with alky

2 stock longblock 109 with bigger lines no problem to 134 mph in a very light car.

3. mid 11 sec gn.

i dont know how long the last, but they work very well and ive had no wiring issues at all.

Just out of curiosity, Which version are you using??? Is it the center outlet or one of the offsets?
