How many of you have purchased aftermarket weather stripping for your window and then experienced an issue with proper seal?

At highway speeds I am hearing the whistling sound indicating my window seals are not sealing at the top. Seems as thought the issue is coming from the upper rear part of the seal.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I had the same problem. Where the top rubber made the transition into the "B" piler, it was really soft rubber and then changed to thick hard rubber. I just ended up buying original GM weather stripping. You can try to adjust your glass and with some luck get it to seal. Good luck.

Don't give up on them just yet. Yours might not be that bad and a little window adjustment might fix you up. The ones I had were just too bad for any window adjustment to fix(I tried)lol.

You might want to try steelerubber.com for new weatherstrips. Last set I got from Gm I sent back and the second set wasn't much better. I think their inventory is dried up. I put all new seals on my car and I was very unhappy with the fit. It was so much work to take out the old seals and scrape off the old glue. Added to the fact that I don't drive the car in the rain I said screw it.
