Aftermarket Crossover Pipe?

HAVE ALL THE BIG EX. ON CAR NOW AND STILL HAVE STOCK CROSSOVER TO THE MANIFOLDS. MY ? IS SINCE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT RUNS WITH AFTERMARKET IS IT A BIG GAIN OR NESSESARY TO CHANGE TO AFTERMARKET PIPE? THEY ARE 89.00 BUCKS FROM AGGRESSIVE IS IT WORTH IT. THANKS

Factory size is 2 1/4" on the crossover. ATR/Poston's etc...sell 2 1/2" units. This will reduce spool-up performance on most street cars unless you have a high stall converter, lots o' fuel and a mondo turbo with a small exhaust housing or a 44/49 with a V2 etc... For 90% of the cars out there the stock 2 1/4" crossover is more than ample. Check with the guys who go fast for confirmation. The right combination can really benefit rom a 2 1/2" crossover.
