air compressor problem

Hello guys,

I need to repaint the bumper. My friend has the air compressor and we can order the paint. But the compressor is without motor. Who can advice any cheap model of motor for the Craftsman air compressor 60 galloon?

Look up the model number of the compressor, determine what hp motor and rpm it needs, along with the proper pulley diameter for the motor.

Then get the motor at harbor freight.

It is Brazilian motor, so the price is not very high. Has anybody tried the Weg motor?

The motor you posted the link to is 3 phase . Most non comercial air compressors are single phase . Not sure if you were aware or not.

I suggest calling sears and they probably have a motor for you. My parents have bought plenty of parts from them for their 20 plus year old lawn tractors from them.

Or look on craigslist for another compressor. Or call around to some local pawn shops and buy another compressor from them. Then run 1 tank in line with the other tank for more air
