If he is running 22#'s of boost with Pro-Pain where is he going to get the extra horsepower from if he decides to run race gas?
Paul,
As discussed on the "other board" we both know that I have too much gear for this engine combo. While a reduction in rpm may aid MPH, I am far more concerned about the advantages found in my torque converter. I was leaving on ~3psi of boost, and flashing the converter/pedalling it through the 60'.
On a set of 28" tall ET Drags (which I own), and being able to launch at the full capacity of the converter/brakes I am willing to bet there is another 1/2 second of ET in this car, easy. Proper, or even stock weight transfer would only improve this, as it would be closer to a "traditional state of tune": being able to "stand on it".
I am not worried about the fuel side of things, this car should be able to turn 100mph on straight 94, sans propane (I think it has...

) with 3.42 gearing and 26" tall tires.
Unfortunately, I have painted myself (willingly) into a corner by approaching this car differently than most owners.
Oh well, I am gonna see what some 3.08 gears will do for her... other than easily sustain 150mph in 3rd gear.
