Alcohol stove

just purchased a 1988 searay midcabin boat.its got a alcohol stove in it,just happens ive got a 5 gallon jug in the garage.Is it the same we use in our alcoholic cars?

The question is the risk worth the benefit? What if what you use creates an issue that now damages your motor. To save 30 bucks??

as long as its not meth i think its okay to use ...... I think....

meth i think is not safe for cooking use? if i remember right.... so denatured alky or isopropyl would work too.

My car is not an Alcoholic.. it just drinks when it has too..

If its just for heating I cant see issue. I wouldn't grill with it tho.

i was going to use to make coffee,the plunger is dried out.gonna soak it for a few days see if it works.
