I had a summit line lock on my gn when i bought it, and the brake pedal would slowly sink to the floor after about 4 weeks of driving. Turns out i was getting air in the front brakes. bleed them, fine for a few weeks. There is a recall for the cast iron combination valve, so i did it and replaced it with the brass valve. Free, so why not. Still air in front. Started to freak out, cause of high$$$ powermaster. Removed line lock for the he(( of it and FIXED! Just wanted to let anyone know of this problem with the summit brand line lock.
I think the line lock would have been ok if installed AFTER the combination valve. It was installed right past the master cylinder outlet. Anyone heard this?
