anybody know a good alignment shop in broward?

The last place I went to a couple years ago did a bunch of mods for me. However, they left a bolt off of my passenger side brake caliper, and it fell down while I was driving. They also left a whole bunch of shims in the engine area, which came flying out while I was driving. AND, they left a nut off of one of the shock bolts.

So, I won't be going back there again...

I don't want to go to just any shop. I would like to go to a place that knows about drag racing and auto x-ing, road racing, etc.
 
OK Tire in Pompano on Dixie. The guy that runs the place is a car guy, so you don't need to worry about him screwing with your car. He's got like a 64-something mopar with a 427 HEMI

But does he know about the best "toe in toe out" and "caster camber" for road racing?

I roll on 17" wheels with low profile tires and I take the off ramps on the freeway at almost 100mph...:cool:

That's some serious MPH on those ramps............I can relate!!
As far as THAT shop you talking about, I know how you feel. They aren't in my phone anymore!!! I will try to find somewhere where they are car-guy related and don't do cheesy work......

Thanks Matt.

I know accidents happen, and everyone makes mistakes. I mess up stuff working on my own car all the time.

The thing that really bothers me is that I thought he should have been more apologetic or sorry for what happened. It seemed to me that he was bothered by the fact that I was complaining about all the stuff that went wrong.

How about "bring the car in so that we can look it over and here is 50% of your next oil change" or something...:rolleyes:

lol. I don't know...

I do need to get it changed. I went from 225/50/15 to 225/45/17.
 
I KNOW IT WELL......

Seems like I do the same.....tried to replace the turnsignal stalk and managed to break apart the plastic switch INSIDE the column. Real smooth on my part! I did have the hook-up for Alignment in Miami, but that is longer. I'll let you know if I find anything. Hey, Any word on a location for meetings yet?

Yep. I just killed the lock on my glove box door. That is great, having that open all the time. Really makes the car look like azz...

RE SFTBC, I don't know. I haven't heard from Alex. I thought about the hard rock casino in Hollywood. But I went there and there was about 20,000 cars there, so that would be worse then towers.

There is a restuarant in Hollywood, tailgaters, that has a big parking lot.

We need someone who owns a business like Colin (Berry's) used to.

What about your place?;)

I am working for a wheel manufacturer now, It is where you saw me off perimeter road that day. It is in a warehouse district so it isnt a good spot.
I will start checking out some other well-lit places around the area. see ya........
